A, Raymarine wind instrument—solved by upgrade firmware. I am posting this on behalf of my Spanish friend Isaac. We need help to resolve a problem with his newly installed A There are no other networked instruments.

We have checked the laptop configuration which appears to be correct. Isaac has also used a Raspberry Pi instead of the laptop and gets the same problem. And I have read other posts here about a similar problem but with different equipment, so not helping us resolve our problem. I have only recently added the SeaTalk data to the A Some software is better than others but we are still testing. I returned the unit and Quark sent me a new one. Now those 2 issues seem to be resolved.

Just for your reference, its the same one you returned but the firmware has been upgraded to be the latest version. My A has updated to the lastest firmware, it now works like a charm!

The wind data now seems to be accurate. My friend Mark took the device and you changed the firmware but the wind data still fails. Ais is doing very well but no wind. Also say that the way to mark the speed and direction of the wind is confusing, since it marks only a few seconds and then mark zero.

Sorry for the issue you have, it looks like you are not using the latest firmware you can always check the firmware version via the configuration tool. It was delivered personally by my friend Mark!
